How AnAqSimEDU compares to AnAqSim
AnAqSimEDU has all the same features as AnAqSim but with the following limitations:
- AnAqSimEDU allows 2 levels (layers) in multi-level models, but AnAqSim allows up to 14.
- AnAqSimEDU allows up to 2 time periods in transient models, but the number of periods in AnAqSim is unlimited.
- AnAqSimEDU allows up to 5 time steps per period in transient models, but the number of steps in AnAqSim is unlimited.
- AnAqSimEDU has an upper limit to the number of equations (500), which limits model complexity. In AnAqSim, the number of equations is only limited by the computer’s operating system or memory amount, and 20,000+ equations are possible.
